Welcome to The Amino Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Clinic”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, digital platforms, and healthcare services (collectively, the “Platform” and “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

- Services: Telehealth and healthcare services provided by the Clinic.
- Clinic Services: Consultations and related healthcare services delivered by practitioners.
- Platform: Website and digital systems used to deliver Services.
- Healthcare Practitioners: Registered Australian medical professionals.
- Fee: Charges for Services as notified from time to time.
- Authorised Representative: A person legally authorised to act on behalf of a patient.
3. Nature of Services
The Amino Hub provides access to Australian-registered healthcare practitioners who deliver telehealth consultations and clinical care in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards.
Important limitations and conditions:
- Telehealth services may not be suitable for all patients or conditions.
- Practitioners may determine that in-person consultation, diagnostic testing, or referral is required.
- Any prescriptions are issued only after a real-time clinical consultation and at the sole discretion of the practitioner.
- We do not provide prescriptions based solely on questionnaires, chat, or email requests.
- All clinical decisions are made in accordance with Medical Board of Australia guidelines and safe prescribing practices.
Information on the Platform is general in nature and does not constitute medical advice.
4. No Emergency Services
Our Services are not intended for medical emergencies or urgent care.
If you require urgent assistance, call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.
We are not a substitute for your regular healthcare provider, and you should continue routine care with your primary practitioner.
5. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Reside in Australia
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Provide informed consent to treatment
Meeting these criteria does not guarantee acceptance. Clinical suitability is determined by the practitioner.
6. Your Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Attend scheduled consultations
- Follow clinical advice and treatment plans
- Notify us of adverse reactions
- Comply with all applicable laws
Failure to provide accurate information may result in refusal or termination of Services.
7. Appropriate Use
You must not:
- Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Mislead practitioners or staff
- Engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour
- Attempt to interfere with system security or operations
8. Authorised Representatives
You may appoint an Authorised Representative where legally permitted. We may require documentation to verify authority.
9. Telehealth Services
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Consultations are conducted via secure telehealth technologies
- There are inherent risks in electronic communication, including potential technical failures
- Practitioners will determine whether telehealth is clinically appropriate
- Prescriptions, referrals, and clinical documents are issued at practitioner discretion following consultation
- Consultations may not be recorded without your consent
10. Fees, Billing and Financial Consent
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
10.1 Consultation Fees
- Fees are payable at the time of booking
- Fees apply to consultation services only
- Medication and pharmacy costs are separate
10.2 Fee Changes
- Fees may be updated from time to time
- Changes apply prospectively only
- Existing bookings are not affected unless agreed or required by law
10.3 Refunds
Refunds may be provided where:
- Services are deemed clinically inappropriate
- The Clinic cancels and cannot reschedule
Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
10.4 Cancellations & Rescheduling
- More than 48 hours: full refund or reschedule
- Within 48 hours: up to 50% fee may apply
10.5 No-Show Policy
Failure to attend without notice may result in full fee forfeiture.
10.6 Late Attendance
Late arrivals may result in shortened consultations.
Arrivals over 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show.
11. Prescriptions
- Prescriptions are not guaranteed
- Issued only where clinically appropriate
- Based on practitioner assessment and regulatory requirements
- Additional tests or referrals may be required before prescribing
12. Privacy and Personal Information
We handle your personal and health information in accordance with:
- Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
- Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
- Relevant health privacy laws
Our Privacy Policy explains:
- What data we collect
- How it is used and disclosed
- Overseas data handling (if applicable)
- Access, correction, and complaints processes

13. Intellectual Property
All Platform content is owned or licensed by the Clinic and protected by law.
You must not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute content
- Use content for commercial purposes
- Interfere with proprietary rights
14. Third-Party Services
We may engage third parties (e.g., pharmacies, IT providers).
We are not responsible for:
- Third-party services or content
- Their privacy or operational practices
15. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Services are provided in accordance with professional standards
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited as permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:

- Your unlawful or improper use of Services
This does not apply to losses caused by our negligence or misconduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

23. Entire Agreement
